Dekton

Dekton® uses a blend of raw materials to produce the most sophisticated, modern glass and porcelain products as well as quartz work surfaces of the highest quality. The size and lightness (size up to 320 x 144 cm) of Dekton® products allows for endless possibilities; including new designs in kitchens, bathrooms, facades, walls or high-traffic flooring grow at an exponential rate.

There are several advantages to choosing Dekton® products to furnish your home. Dekton® surfaces are highly scratch, stain and heat resistant. Although cutting boards are still recommended, cutting directly onto a Dekton® benchtop will not scratch or damage the surface. Similarly, hot pots, pans and other appliances can be placed directly onto a Dekton® surface with no worry of damage. While other benchtop surfaces are “stain resistant”, Dekton® surfaces are completely stain proof! Since Dekton® surfaces have extremely low porosity and contain no resins, stubborn stains such as wine, coffee and rust can all easily be removed. Drips or splashes or harsh cleaning chemicals such as bleach or drain cleaners won’t harm a Dekton® surface either.

Dekton® manufactures some of the most durable products on the market when it comes to stone surfaces. While most engineered stone surfaces are recommended ONLY for indoor use, Dekton® is highly resistant to UV light. Therefore it is perfect for indoor OR outdoor applications as the surface will not fade or degrade over time. Dekton®’s high resistance to abrasion and thermal expansion also make it highly suitable for outdoor use. While most stone surfaces will crack or wear under certain weather conditions, Dekton® low coefficient of thermal expansion makes it Thermal Shockproof from either extremely hot or cold temperatures.
